The
Story of XP Blue Screen
All of a sudden if we see a flashy
blue screen and if the computer shuts down, then it
is the xp blue screen about which we
are talking now. It is also known as a “Blue Screen
of Death” because it comes up with a splashy blue screen
just before the system crashes. Error messages may not
come, but we would see the xp blue screen
whenever this happens. Some other names of the blue
screens are BSOD, a stop error, a blue screen and Blue
Screen of Doom.
However, xp blue screen comes up when
windows has some fatal issues and in order to prevent
that, system automatically shuts down. In most of the
cases, error messages like kernell appear. These files
are responsible for hardware functionality. Whenever
these file goes missing, system shuts down after a stop
error with the blue screen. Moreover, xp blue
screen may also come up in power supply malfunctioning,
peripheral overheating and conflict between a slave
and primary hard drive.
In order to eliminate the xp blue screen,
we need to have the windows installer CD handy. We need
to insert it and restart the system. It would prompt
for user response. We need to read each instruction
minutely and work in that way. The next step would be
pressing “F8” from the keyboard in order to go to the
next screen. Then we will see the repair, delete partition
and quit options. We need to press “R” in order to repair
the operating system. In this way we need to carry on,
till the time system restarts from its own. If this
seems complicated then we can use “Registry Mechanic”
by PC Tools or “Registry Patrol” from Patrol Software
Labs in order to eliminate the xp blue screen
error.
