Windows Rundll Can Be Replaced

Windows rundll is one of the most vital programs present in the system. It is the system process which is an integral part of every operating system. Error may come up if any file gets corrupted. More over, the computer may crash due to the same reason. So, “rundll” need to be determined first in order to replace the corrupted windows rundll file.

In order to replace windows rundll file, we need to run the system in “Safe Mode” and for that we need to restart the system. Then we need to press”F8” unless we see the “Windows Advanced Options” menu. Here, we will find "Safe Mode No Networking" and then we need to hit "Enter". System will boot to the main screen and from there we need to run antivirus or anti-spyware scans. The scan process may take time, but we should click on “Cancel”, unless we get the next prompt. After the completion of scan, we need to restart the computer. System will prompt for windows rundll errors and we need to delete those files simultaneously.

The next step is, to inset the Windows system CD once we restart the system. Here we need to replace the old windows rundll.exe files. For that we need to go through the “Start” menu and open the “Run” Command. We need to type "expand X:\i386\rundll32.ex_ c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe". The letter “X” should be replaced with the computer CD drive name. The entire command has to be in quotes. Through this process, system will install the original windows rundll files which came with the computer. By rebooting the system we can be assured against this issue. However, lot of websites insists to download “.dll” files. We should strictly avoid that and we should always use the Windows CD for any issues.
