Windows error 5 may
occur whenever we are trying to use the "Net View”
or "Net Time" commands to search for file
information from the internet. However, there could
be operating system error as well internet issues. The
error is more prominent in operating system like windows
vista and seven. Due to features like “User Account
Control”, every application cannot be supported within
these operating systems. Windows error 5
may also come up if the system the clock is not coordinated
with the network time. That is why the network is not
permitting to access the internet or else a firewall
is coming between the user and network.
However, to fix windows error 5, we
can disable the “User Account Control” with the help
of editing a key in the Windows registry. But that should
be done under expert supervision. Any change could be
fatal and we may need to sacrifice our vital data stored
on the system hard drive. On the other hand, if we manage
the time between the network and the system clock or
if we update the system time as per the network then
the windows error 5 will not happen
again. However, if there is no change in the situation
then we should initiate the registry scan immediately.
Same way, a virus scan is also required in order to
be in a safer side. This will actually help the system
to stay free from errors at a large extent.
Even after re-booting the computer, if it comes up with
windows error 5 than we should not
waste time and start the “System Restore” application.
It is the stage where the computer has worked perfectly.
