Rundll error comes
up when there is any issue with the windows registry.
It usually happens when the registry gets corrupted
and doesn’t function as per the user. It could also
happen if the system has detected virus programs. However,
it can be fixed with the help of a registry cleaner
program but we can try it from ourselves in order to
prevent rundll errors.
Windows registry has a vital role because it has all
the system configurations, preference and settings stored
in it. So, it is best if we try to troubleshoot rundll
errors under expert supervision. We can try out with
files causing errors. Like we can uninstall and reinstall
the particular program or a full system scan with the
help of anti-viruses. If nothing helps then we may start
with troubleshooting steps. First, we need to click
on "Run" from the Start menu. Then we need
to type "regedit" and press "Enter"
from the keyboard. After this a window will pop up and
we need to locate "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" folder
from the left panel. Now we nee do double click on the
folder and look for another folder called "Microsoft".
Now we need to click on "Windows" folder.
After this we need to click on "Currentversion".
We need to look for the registry "WildTangent CDA"
in the right panel. We need to delete this registry
after selecting it with a single click. After this entire
troubleshooting, we need to close all the programs and
restart the computer. Rundll error
will not come up again.
So, next time if we see any rundll
error like "specified module could not be found"
or "the application failed to initialize properly",
we don’t have to panic. After all, rundll
errors can be fixed by us.
