Fault - We Need To Be Aware Of 
People who are dealing with computers
every now and then, for them technical error doesn’t
matter at all. If it is a page fault
error, then they need to be aware of this. Reasons could
be various but Microsoft says that it happens due to
degraded anti-virus programs, corrupted softwares and
hardware and ruined NTFS file systems. Technical knowledge
is required in order to deal with page fault
error.
Generally, page fault comes up on a
blue screen. Blue screen appears due to malfunctioning
of any hardware or software. But it may also happen
due to improper installation of the RAM chips, video
cards etc. So the first thing is to determine that which
program or device is causing the error. Any recent installed
hardware or software could be the reason. We can try
to replace it and. If the computer again comes up with
page fault error, we may restart and
start tapping the “F8” key. The system will come up
with a black screen and we need to choose "Last
known good configuration" option by using the up
and down arrow keys from the keyboard. By this step,
computer will go back to its previous stage where it
was working properly.
Same way, we can also try the “Safe mode” option and
remove the faulty program from the control panel. If
nothing helps then we need repair the operating system
with the help of a windows installation CD. This could
remove the page fault error forever.
We need to insert the CD and restart the computer. System
will automatically come up with onscreen options. We
need to choose “R” by pressing the same letter from
the keyboard. Once it completes, system will restart
and it will be free from page fault
error.
