Operating
System Not Found Issue
The operating system not found
errors comes up when system finishes its booting process.
In this way system itself is indicating us that there
is some issue regarding the normal start-up. So we need
to take care of it. The system may stop at the time
of loading up the windows or else it would start up
with the error.
To repair the operating system not found
issue, first we need to insert the Windows install disk
and reboot the PC. As the computer is unable to find
the operating system on the hard drive, it will automatically
to the next possible boot device, which could be the
CD drive. However if we are in doubt then there should
be an option to select boot device when the computer
is first powered on. We can try this by tapping the
F12 and in this way can boot straight from the removable
dive. Then we need to press any key when the system
will prompt for the installation disk. Here we need
to follow the on-screen instructions for operating
system not found issue. Then we need to install
the new operating system. If it finds the existing operating
system, the windows installer would give a chance to
perform a repair of whatever is currently on the hard
drive. It will replace the corrupted files with clean
ones from the install disk.
If the Windows installer does not detect any operating
system not found issue even after installing
the windows operating system. Then the hard drive itself
may be at fault. So, we need to replace the hard drive
and repeat the first few steps again. The original hard
drive is likely corrupted or otherwise broken and that
is why system is showing operating system not
found issue.
