To
Deal with Network Name No Longer Available Issue
In order to setup small networks, many
of us take the “router”. The router has the capacity
to combine all the network connections and distribute
the internet connectivity logically to each systems
present in the network. However, if any the computer
doesn’t response to the router or vice-versa, the system
will come with network name no longer available
error. But there are instructions to resolve these issues
and at the same time by simply checking the settings
of the router and the network connection, we can actually
fix the issue.
To deal with the network name no longer available
error, first we need to connect the computer with the
router by a using an Ethernet cable even if the router
is a wireless device. Then we need to open the Internet
Explorer and need to type the router's IP address. Generally,
the IP address looks like192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
with the prefix of "http://". Now the logon
page will come up and we need to put in the user name
and password of the router. Most of the routers have
the user name as "admin" and password remains
the same. Now we need to modify the IP address of the
router to a link which is causing the network
name no longer available error.
As a result, the system is getting conflicted with the
main router on the server. We should try to fix the
IP- 192.168.0.2. because it has been used lot of times
with the router. This step would help us to get rid
of the network name no longer available
error because the system will translate the IP address.
Moreover, by disabling the firewall and re-configuring
the router settings would be considered as the resolution
for the network name no longer available
error.
