If
The Motherboard Beeps
Generally, the motherboard
beeps starts when there is some RAM malfunctioning.
The motherboard will play beeps when the computer is
turning on. If the beep is not frequent then we can
conclude that the RAM is not connected properly. So,
we can remove and put the RAMs again into the memory
slots to get rid of these beeps. But the troubleshooting
should be done after turning off the computer, otherwise
the RAM will be burnt.
On the other hand, if we keep on getting motherboard
beeps then that is needed to work upon. Actually,
the golden side of the RAM is required to be cleaned.
It is due to the dust of the golden pin. So, all we
need to do is to clean that edge with the help of an
eraser. After inserting the RAMS, if still motherboard
beeps, then again we need to take out the RAM
and put glue between the edges of the golden side. However,
after process, we would not be able to pull out the
RAMs frequently.
Lot of time, even video cards may cause motherboard
beeps. This happens when the card itself is
improperly inserted or the display of the graphics card
is crushed. We may hear about the motherboard
beeps. However, most of the motherboard comes
up with one long and two short beeps. Even, this also
we need to take out and put back the graphics card.
If the system still gives motherboard beeps
then we need repair it or need to replace it with the
new graphics card. We should be checking the graphics
card slots for dust particles as well. Similarly, mismatched
graphics card may cause the same issue. That is why
it is prescribed to check the system requirements before
inserting any new device.
