Low Disk – A Minor Issue

Most of us may find low disk bit irritating, but it may be considered as a minor issue. By deleting unwanted files can resolve the issue but we should be conscious while doing it. The error comes up like 'You are running out of disk space on Local Disk'. It is created by Windows to indicate that system is running out of memory. It could be seen often if the system has only two hundred megabyte of memory. If the system runs on eighty megabyte of memory, we will again get the same error. If the system has fifty megabyte, system will continuously show low disk error.

Low disk space error comes up when we are trying to save documents and downloading files. However, with simple steps we can avoid this situation. So, first we need to shut all the programs which are running. Now we need to save our files on the hard drive. We can use an external drive as well. Then we need to disable the anti-virus and need to check whether the hard drive space has increased or not. We can check the "Add/Remove Programs" from the Control Panel. Here, we can see the space allocated to each program. If it is excess than uninstalling the anti-virus is a better option. However, we can use AVG anti-virus. This will help to avoid Low disk space because it takes less space on the hard drive.

We should empty the recycle bin, remove unwanted programs, delete files which we don’t use, including temporary files and internet cookies etc. These all files lead to Low disk. End of every thing , we can start “ScanDisk” to locate and fix any hard drive errors and in this way we can take the computer away from Low disk space error.
