Fixing
Invalid File Errors
Every file in the computer system has
a file extension. These extensions are identity of each
file. There are each programs allotted to run each files
after identifying the extension. So it is considered
that each file extension is allotted the respective
programs. Invalid file errors come
up when file extension don’t not run properly. It may
also happen while renaming, saving or creating a new
file in the system. If we use alphanumeric characters
while renaming or saving a file, windows would come
with the same error message. We should not use those
characters, numbers or special symbols to rename any
file. The main cause is the installation and uninstallation
of programs. Files which are left in the system while
uninstallation creates issues and becomes invalid
file.
Most of these files are kept in windows registry. Invalid
file extensions are junk in the system. In
this way, whenever we install or uninstall any program,
file extension remains in the system and stay active.
Same way every time this happens and bunch of unnecessary
files get store in the system. It affects the system
performance and cause invalid file
extensions errors.
In order to fix invalid file associations
error, we can either look for particular program that
run these files or we can go ahead and clean all the
files from the windows system registry itself. Taking
the help of a good registry cleaner and cleaning the
computer could be the best way. This program would actually
detect all the junk, unwanted and trash files and fix
all invalid file errors. However, after
installing the registry cleaner, it may not be successful
while removing the error, but it is considered to be
the best solution for people who are not technically
sound or amateur in modern computing.
