Hard drive bad sectors are coming up every now and then. These bad sectors could be classified into logical and the physical bad sectors. We can feel fortunate, if the computer traces logical bad sectors. With the help of hard disk utilities, we can solve logical bad sectors. On the other hand, we are unfortunate if the computer has physical bad sectors. We need to repair the hard drive or we may need to replace it as well. But sometime, we can find a ray of hope even if it there are physical bad sectors. So, hard drive bad sectors can be resolved but conditions are always applied.

First of all we need judge about the kind of hard drive bad sectors. In this case, if the computer start-up with the blue screen, it indicates that the other memory devices like RAM was unsuccessful to boot the computer. We will observe automatic restart and error messages coming up. We may see error messages regarding the RAM as well. So, anyone who has the knowledge of replacing the RAM, they may go for it. Inter-changing the memory slots could be helpful for hard drive bad sectors.

However, if the computer comes up with an error stating that the windows cannot be located, then we can confirm that it is due to hard drive bad sectors. In this case the hard disk will be totally out-of-the-way. We can try to recover some data with the help of some hard disk utility but data retrieval cannot be guaranteed. So, it is suggested to get a new hard disk instead of wasting time with the faulty one. That is why it is suggested to create back-ups, as much as we can because hard drive bad sectors are like uninvited guests.
