A symptom of c000021a fatal
error is nothing but a blue screen when we
turn on the computer. Most of the time, it comes up
as a set of numbers suffixed with a one liner. It happens
when we try to install a new hardware in the system
and the moment we restart the computer, we see the something
like this. It indicates that whatever device is attached
with the computer is either not compatible or the device
itself is faulty. That is why, the moment system is
scanning for new devices and it is trapped by the c000021a
fatal error.
If we can take the system back to the normal position,
we can pick up the computer from c000021a fatal
error. For that, we need to turn off the computer
and need to "Restart" it while tapping the
"F8" key from the keyboard simultaneously.
Then, a black screen with “Advance Boot Options” will
appear. Here we need to use the up-and-down arrow keys
from the keyboard to select the "Last Known Good
Configuration" option. After this we need to press
"Enter" key. After sometime system will restart
and we would see the windows logo. In this way we can
reduce the effect of c000021a fatal error.
If still we didn’t see any change then we need to use
the windows installation CD. So, we need to insert the
CD into the computer and restart the system. We will
get the prompt to press any key. Then we need to select
the language, keyboard and current settings from the
screen. Now, we need to choose the "Repair your
computer" option. We need to select the drive containing
the windows CD and need to press "Next". Then,
system will automatically start repairing the c000021A
Fatal Error.
